Bill leads life sciences economic and statewide development programs for the North Carolina Biotechnology Center (NCBiotech). This includes responsibility for NCBiotech teams focused on life sciences economic development, corporate communications, statewide operations, and focused initiatives.
In his 20-year career at NCBiotech, Bill has led efforts that have contributed to the ongoing growth of NC’s life sciences industry, including the expansion and attraction of over $20 billion in life science company investment and over 20,000 jobs. His teams also support life sciences workforce development including military and veteran outreach, youth engagement, and specialized biomanufacturing programming.
