NAF Future Ready Lab Big Reveal
Cabarrus County Schools was selected as one of four teams to participate in locally-sponsored NAF Future Ready Labs. This program is a collaboration between the National Academy Foundation (NAF), business partners, and academy and district representatives to offer students an internship experience with an innovative and comprehensive structure.
Students from 5 Cabarrus County high schools are currently participating in NAF Future Ready Labs, giving them the opportunity to put their education into practice in a unique work environment with support from local business partners.
Participants in the program have been working with need seekers using 3D printing to problem solve, design equipment and tools for people with physical disabilities.
Participants in this program will be presenting their projects to the community and their need seekers during a special "Big Reveal" event at Jay M. Robinson High School. If you would like to watch their presentations, you can join them at Jay M. Robinson High School - Auxiliary Gym (Map) on Thursday, August 1 from 1:00-3:00pm. All are welcome to attend.
