Exploring Wayne Brothers’ Headquarters: A Tour of Innovation and Capability

November 18, 2024
by Stephanie Burleson, Cabarrus EDC Business Support Manager

In October, I had the pleasure of meeting Don Miller, Senior Business Development Manager with Wayne Brothers, at a Manufacturing Day event. During a conversation with Don and VP Chad Champine, they graciously invited me to tour their headquarters in Cabarrus County. What awaited me was a campus showcasing meticulous attention to detail and a dynamic range of operations.

A Warm Welcome

Upon my arrival, Chad greeted me in the lobby, where Wayne Brothers proudly displays their submission from this year’s Annual Summit. While they didn’t win the top honor, their creative wheels are already spinning for next year’s entry!

Touring the Facility

The tour revealed an expansive operation that speaks to Wayne Brothers’ versatility and expertise. Highlights included:

  • Fabrication Shop: A hub of precision work.
  • Fleet Vehicles and Full-Service Mechanic Shop: they maintain an extensive fleet of vehicles, from job-site trucks to executive cars, all serviced on-site.
  • Industrial and Construction Supply Company: A Wayne Brothers acquisition, this arm supplies everything from chainsaws to specialty tools for both company projects and community needs.
  • Materials Storage and Concrete Finishing Shop: Essential components for Wayne Brothers’ specialty construction capabilities.

Wayne Brothers’ Wide Range of Services

Beyond the impressive facilities, their portfolio is even more remarkable. Their expertise spans:

  • Specialty concrete and finishing.
  • Process integration and equipment rigging.
  • Installation, maintenance, service, and repair.

A Regional Presence with a Broad Reach

With locations in North Carolina, Tennessee, and South Carolina, Wayne Brothers serves a much broader region, offering cutting-edge solutions across industries.

My visit underscored Wayne Brothers’ commitment to innovation, quality, and community impact. I look forward to seeing their continued success and creativity at next year’s Annual Summit!
