Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Fueling Growth Through Creativity and Collaboration
Located in the heart of downtown Concord, North Carolina, the Cabarrus Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is a resource hub created by a collaborative effort between the Cabarrus Economic Development Corporation and Flywheel Coworking, to support entrepreneurs as they launch their new businesses as well as existing small businesses as they grow.
Location:
Rowan Cabarrus Community College Small Business Center
The Small Business Center (SBC) at Rowan-Cabarrus supports entrepreneurs in Concord, Kannapolis, Salisbury, and surrounding areas by offering free business counseling, educational programs, and resources. Sponsored by the NC Community College System’s Small Business Center Network (SBCN), the SBC plays a crucial role in creating and retaining jobs statewide, assisting in over 600 business launches annually. To start, pre-launch clients can attend a How to Start a Business workshop and schedule one-on-one counseling for tailored guidance on their business journey.
Let Director Megan Smit help spark your success with resources such as free webinars on topics like e-commerce and market analysis, or schedule a one-on-one session with a professional business counselor.
