CHARLOTTE, N.C.; December 4, 2024 — Avelo Airlines announced today a significant expansion in Charlotte with the establishment of a new base at Charlotte’s Concord-Padgett Regional Airport (USA). The opening of Avelo’s new base at USA will include positioning two aircraft in Charlotte, the addition of two new nonstop routes to Daytona Beach, Florida (DAB) and Nashville, Tennessee (BNA), and the creation of up to 50 new jobs.

Avelo will open its Charlotte base on March 6, 2025. The airline will initially position one Boeing Next-Generation 737 at USA and will add a second 737 in April 2025.
