Why Cabarrus County?

Quality of Life

Cabarrus County features a low cost of living, housing diversity, award-winning school systems, and a robust community college (Rowan-Cabarrus Community College).

We also have some of the country’s top medical facilities as well as affordable healthcare costs.

Lastly, we are home to virtually every kind of shopping experience, plus an entertainment district just moments away from all the thrills of motor racing and baseball.

Business Profiles

Cabarrus County is located in one of the fastest growing regions in the country. Once home to Cannon Mills, the world’s largest producer of fine towels and linens, Cabarrus County has a rich history in textiles and a large, highly skilled workforce that has fueled the county’s growth over the decades.

Eli Lilly and Red Bull are just two companies that have developed a presence in our county and have taken advantage of our strong workforce created in part by our local community colleges.
