Job fair to draw 50 employers to Concord event
More than 50 employers are expected at the Rowan-Cabarrus Community Job Fair to be held in about two weeks.
Last year, 400 jobseekers showed up at the event, planners say.
The Centralina Workforce Development Board and Rowan-Cabarrus CommunityCollege conduct the job fair.
The job fair is scheduled for 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on March 1 at the New Life Baptist Church, 1281 Biscayne Drive, Concord. The event kicks off with an employer discussion panel at 9 a.m.
The Mobile Veteran’s Center will be on site from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
