Located in the southern most point of Cabarrus County and just a few miles east of Mecklenburg County, Midland has a population of more than 3,000 people.
Midland is dedicated to preserving the rural quality of life. The town is home to Reed Gold Mine, which was the location of the first recorded discovery of gold in America.
Midland is poised to become the next business "boomtown" in Cabarrus County and has a strong industrial based economy. There is excellent infrastructure with easy access via US 24-27 to Interstate 485.
